I'd start Vista setup and choose "Repair your computer". The setup should find your Vista installation and repair the booting things.

Follow the instructions on the following page and instead of choosing System
Restore choose *Startup Repair* in the System Recovery Options. This should
repair the Vista Boot Loader. http://bertk.mvps.org/html/recovery.html
