Freezes/hangs

Recently when I use manual Restart, the PC freezes/hangs with the hard disc
light appearing to be lit continuously. There is no response from the mouse
and
keyboard.

The only method that I have found for using the PC after this happens, is to
shutdown with the PC on/off button and restart with the PC on/off button.

most of this kind of problems ocurred due to virus infection, download
windows defender and scan your pc, download Avast antivirus and scan your pc
for viruses or malware

Please describe how you are shutting down and using "manual Restart"
that causes your problems. Are you shutting down properly, like clicking on
Start>Turn off computer>Turn Off? or are you just holding in the startup
button for several seconds to shut down? or are you cutting power to your
system, like switching off the power supply ? s

It is Start>Turn off computer>Restart/Turn off which is the problem with
freezing/hanging. I can only turn off by holding in the PC on/off button for
a few seconds.
