formatting external hard drive

I think I know the answer to this, but thought I would ask just in case I am
wrong.

I have a Western Digital 120GB external hard drive. It is FAT32 instead of
NTSF. I don't think it is possible, but can it be re-partitioned to an NTSF
without losing everything on it? Just grasping at straws. I cannnot save
anything over 4GB and need to .

Yes it can be converted to NTFS (note: it's conversion, not repartitioned,
unless of course you want to repartition and in the process convert to
NTFS..lol). Normally the conversion will preserve data, but things will go
wrong if one is not prepared, so make sure there is a full backup of all
data.
