I am running XP MCE with all the latest updates. Lately I have noticed a
weird behavior.
I have my files sorted in Windows Explorer by name and with Auto-arrange
checked. Works fine. But, in several other applications (not just one)
when I open the "Open files" thing, the files are arranged in last
modified order and I need to right click to re-arrange them in name sort
order. Even after that, if I open a sub folder its files are in last
modified order. This did not seem to have always been the case in the
past. I do not understand why the change seems to have occurred. At
first I thought it was because the files were not in sorted correctly in
the Windows Explorer folders, but that does not seem to be the case.
