factory settings

i have a tiny pc running windows xp, i'm about to pass this on to a friend
but would like to restore the factory settings. i can't find the restore
disk. i've scoured the manual but this is the only option it gives, does any
one know of a way to do this without the disk?

Purchase a new Windows XP CD and install from scratch?
Contact those you purchased it from originally and see if they will send/let
you purchase a replacement?

You need to have a recovery or install CD. Contact Tiny for a replacement
or buy a copy of XP and install it. You'll need to get the XP drivers from
the manufacturer's web site.

Or just format the drive, a variety of free utilities are available on the
net for this, and give the PC away without an OS. For a legitimate transfer
of XP with a computer, you need to provide the CD, product key and COA.

That cd can also be burn to make it legitimate , It doesn't have to be the
original , I thought just as long his copy of windows come from this
computer would be fine ? I know I have burn my retail disk and I just use
the burn copy , I don't even touch my original disk and my copy is still
legit , I think the best better would get another copy from Tiny and let
your friend pay for it with the computer

Sure, copy someone else's CD, but it has to be one that will work with the
product key provided by Tiny. Normally the product key on the sticker
attached to the case will work with a generic OEM installation CD, but not
in all cases.

Well I guess he can try that too but I was talking about doing from the
website that I provided in my first post , He can make his own copy off this
computer he talking ( Tiny ) just as long as he can find the I386 folder and
do as such ?
