If you are using a CRT monitor, disconnect that nearby microwave oven.

Or move the subwoofer/speakers away from right next to it!

Is it only the "explorer" that "vibrates"? Or does it happen with the
display no matter what is being displayed? I am asking because I have
seen (a long time ago) a nearby table fan, and also a Constant Voltage
Transformer (that was before UPSs became available and affordable)
causing the display to "vibrate".
