IE 7 win xp home sp2. when I try to download electronic charts from
chartmaker site I get this. "The program C:\program files\internet explorer
caused a problem and is going to close. would you like to save a dump file?"
any ideas anyone? I use adaware and norton security updated.
As in "mini-dump" file. That usually relates to a driver or maybe pc memory
is at minimal amount.Try opening event viewer & get specific details, also,in
computer mgmt, advanced, page file, set to "let system manage" click set 2X
close out.

3. If you uninstall (a) IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), (b)
all toolbars and (c) all third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds) and do NOT reinstall IE7, does this behavior persist? If it does,
do NOT reinstall IE7.
Make *certain* that you check in at Windows Update immediately after
reinstalling IE7 to install any critical updates offered. If Optional
Updates category offers Root Certificates update, I recommend installing it
to take full advantage of IE7's additional security.
