Default Does anyone have a good recommendation for a legitimate/safe tool that monitors changes to the registry?

Gurus,

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a legitimate/safe tool that
monitors changes to the registry? In looking for such a tool, I do not want
to introduce further spyware into the system.

Spin,

There is a program that logs read/writes to the registry, but you can get
100's of lines in a few seconds. Here's the page:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys...es/regmon.mspx

Straight from your link:

Note: Filemon and Regmon have been replaced by Process Monitor on versions of
Windows starting with Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1,
and Windows Vista. Filemon and Regmon remain for legacy operating system
support, including Windows 9x.
