Default Display resolution changes by itself!

Hi all,

I have my display settings set to 1400x1050. Everything usually works
fine...no problems.

Once in a while (maybe twice a week or so) I turn on my computer in the
morning, and my display has changed to 1280x1024! If I then restart windows
(without changing the display settings back to normal), the display will then
go back to 1400x1050 by itself.

Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

I am running Windows XP SP2.

Are you using a display specific driver (one designed for your monitor)
or a built-in driver?

A specific driver from manufacturer might help.
