Dell Dimension 5100 freezes at boot up.

Hi,

I have a Dell Dimension 5100 running Winxp SR2. When I boot the
machine it freezes at the Dell logo screen, and pressing any of the
keys including F2 or F12 has no effect.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

This is a hardware problem that has nothing to do with Windows. Contact Dell
tech support for repair/replacement. If the machine is out of warranty, you
may prefer to take it to a professional computer repair shop (not a
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place) for diagnosis and repair.
