Depends a lot on what you are connecting to.
What you have enabled/disabled.
Etc.

XP Home can't cache passwords. Just create identical user
accounts/passwords on each machine and you won't get asked for a
password when connecting.

Thanks Malke, do you know if their might be a third-party utility that
could provide this functionality?

No, I'm sorry but I don't. If this is a business environment and/or you
need the ability to cache passwords, upgrade XP Home to XP Pro.

Hi, it's not a business setting. We stream music off the Vista machine
and i don't want to give the kids my admin password so if it were cached
that would be ideal.
I tried renaming my main user acct to the same name as my Vista admin
acct and rebooted, still won't remember my password. I need to go to
workgroup then click on the Vista machine, but as soon as I logoff I'm
back at a password prompt.

You might be interested in the Windows Home Server product when it's out
then. It sounds idea for your situation and then you don't have password
issues.
