Computer slow when I right-click an icon

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm running XP Professional 2002, my C
drive has lots of room, etc but when I right click any icon, it takes about
30 s before the menu pops up. The mouse changes to the hour-glass for 30s,
then the menu pops up for 1 sec and disappears. When I Right-click again,
then its really quick to show me the menu.

Hi Bob: I disabled all of them and the right-click is still painfully slow.
ANy other ideas?

How often do you do a disk cleanup and defrag?

Does it also happen just r-clicking the desktop?
