Computer Powers Off When Started

I am trying to fix by HP Pavillion a282n it was working fine then one
day it just powered off. Now when I power it on it shuts down after
about five seconds. I have tried switching out my Power Supply with
another one but that did not help. It does not give any beeps at all
either. It may be a bad motherboard or overheating but all of the
fans appear to be working. Please let me know if there is anything
any of you can think of that I can try doing or changing.

Are you sure the CPU fan is coming on?
The PC will not come on if it detects no CPU fan.
That's the first thing it checks at boot.
Other than that...the CPU is bad. Or has been jared loose.
Pull and clean RAM sticks and their sockets.
