I know a lot of people having this problem. Both of these two specific error
codes appear simultaneously in Window's Event Viewer. What causes it???
1.) - The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal
processing. HRESULT was 80070422 from line 44 of
d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemo bj.cpp.
Not sure what causes it, but switching to Classic Logon
rather than the "eye candy" logon totally got rid of it
(and the accompanying system instability).
See the Helpfile for how to do this if you want to try.
Suspect it's a problem with Fast User Switching which
gets turned off when you use Classic Logon.
