Chinese language removal?

Currently I can read and type Chinese into my computer (Window XP). I have a
software that does not tolerate Asian languages on the computer, even when I
am not directly using Chinese under that software.

How to remove the Chinese language? I tried "language options" under
"control panel", but it did not work (the software I mentioned still does not
work).

Any suggestion?
