Can someone help me access the CD writing wizard. It was available at one
time. Let me explain. I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with Windows XP. It came
with Sonic Record Now, and Windows Media Player installed. I think there is a
battle for control going on between the three software items and my Windows
XP CD writing software has lost. I'm not able to format a CD using Windows
Explorer. The option to "format disk" is not available for CD or DVD.
However, it availalble for floppy. The drive letter (CD/DVD) is not available
to "send to" in Windows Explorer. However, floppy is available. This has been
going on for months, and I'm stuck with using Sonic Record Now which I don't
like because I have to reboot my PC after each time I use it. There is a
problem with the dll drivers and they haven't fixed it yet. So I'm ready to
go back to the plain old-fashioned CD writing wizard. HELP!
