CD Slideshow

How can I view the photos on a CD as a slideshow with out copying the photos
to MyPictures?

Provided that the photos' file extensions are (still) associated with
the (default) Picture&Fax Viewer, just doubleclick one of these files
and start the slideshow via the button located somewhere in the middle
at the bottom of the viewer.
