Default CD-DVD drives

Ok....am running XP Home edition on a 1.3 Ghz system with over 1 GB of memory.

I have installed in the machine:
A Sony DVD RW DRU-800A
and
A Sony CD-RW CRX 230E

I can drag a file from my HD to the DVD recorder to record on a blank disc
and all works the way it is suppose to in Windows.
HOWVER, when I try to drag a file to the CD-RW Drive I get

J:\is not accessible
Incorrect Function

Any ideas ??

Thanks
