Default Bizarre icons on CD

Windows XP Professional SP2

Whae I explore files on C: thay show with correct icons. However when I
explore the same files on CD/DVD they show as internet explorer icons. Has
anybody ever come across this and do you know a fix?

It seems the icons on CDs show correctly to start with then they display
replaces them with the icon for IE7

Yeah it happens to me occasionally.

If you have TweakUI for XP, click on Repair on the left and select Rebuild
Icons from the pulldown menu.

If you don't have TweakUI, get it!
