Apple's Safari web browser for windows

Anyone tried Apple's web browser, Safari, for windows? I got the
version with quicktime installed, but running it, their was a
problem with the "signature"(?). Will try for Safari without
quicktime & see what happens.

Apple's Safari that is available is a beta 3 version currently.

Quite curious how it looks/works.

Looks great, but ZDNET has already posted bugs reported, so it doesn't
sound ready for Windows yet.

show me a piece of Windows software without bugs.

It just crashes everytimes I used bookmarks (they were not loaded
automatically as promised), so I removed it from the system. Anybody else
experienced this?

I've tried it and while it's pretty, it seems to lack some basic features.
Perhaps it's a Mac thing.

But I found it quite unstable - trying to change the start page to google
crashed it every time. So did trying to click on the bug reporting icon.
Not that instability surprises me in beta software, but those are pretty
basic things.

Instability in Windows is normal. What's another crash or three?

My XP systems, and the ones I work on, very rarely crash. They are quite
stable.

The Safari beta is certainly beta quality. Looks nice, I look forward to
their working the kinks out.

It's been working just fine for me. I stay on a Mac most of my time, so it's
good to be able to use the same browser when I do switch over to Windows.
