Default 2nd hard drive "disappears" after recovery.

After performing a Recovery, BIOS and System Information display both drives
but Windows Explorer does not display the 2nd drive. Where is the problem -
me or the computer?

Click Start / Run / diskmgmt.msc, then assign a drive
letter to the partition on the new disk.
