XP Repair install question

If i were to do a repair install on one of my computers in the office
network, would i lose all of their network settings and have to add
the computer to the domain again or would all these settings be kept?

A xp repair from the retail xp cd,99% of the time all is retained,the only
loss
would/should be xp updates,all those are deleted...
