Default XP Pro Setup Stalls

Aquired a "legal" copy of XP Pro SP2 and wanted to upgrade my XP Home. It
stalls at reboot with the barred scroll bar at the bottom at about 95%. Have
tried several times with same result. Why? Solution?

Default RE: XP Pro Setup Stalls

The solution was to uninstall Alcohol 120%, Run XP Pro to upgrade Home,
Reinstall Alcohol.

Well, it could be that your copy of XP Pro could be bad period. If you try
taking it back and exchanging it, they may let you exchange it. Or it could
be that your XP Home could not read the disc or may not be compatible with it.
