I have a Windows XP Upgrade CD. I'm trying to install it on a 320GB SATA HD.
However, the Install disk only recognizes 160 GB although BIOS recognizes
320GB. I was able to install a NEW (SP2) CD with now problem. THis CD does
recognize and let me format the whole drive.
Is there a way I can get a patch on a Floppy that will allow the Upgrade CD
format and install to 320GB HD?
You do need XP SP2 in order for it to recognize all of the 320gb.
here are instructions on how to slipstream SP2 into XP and create a XP SP2 http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase...slipstream.asp
