Default What version of IE?

Does Win XP Pro SP2 version now shipping include IE6 or IE7? For
compatibility reasons, we need IE6. Did not do OS install ourselves, new
computer, has IE7 so don't know if it was "in the box" or installed as update
(update would be easy to rollback). If "in the box", will system become
instable if I uninstall IE7 then install downloaded version if IE6?
Thanks, Lynn

XP ships with IE6, if you remove IE7, it will revert to IE6, stability may
or may not result.

Thanks, David. Just thought I'd check before I blazed away and uninstalled,
since package said something about all security updates being included. Worst
that happens is I have to reinstall OS; not a big deal since this machine is
brand new and haven't installed any apps or even set up users yet.
