Default Want to upgrade to XP from ME

Greetings. I would like to upgrade from ME to XP Home Edition. I satisfy
all the system requirements, but don't know if I need the upgrade version or
complete version. Also, is SP2 standard with both versions and is it
necessary? I've read a ton of posts and I'm still confused. I would
appreciate any help or clarification. Thank you for your time and assistance.

If you have the ME cd you can purchase an upgrade, if you can source one
Currently WinXp is at sp2, later in March sp3 will be released
The sp provides mostly security updates

Thanks DL for the info. I've got another question. I read somewhere that
Vista price will be cut 20-50% near the end of March. If price weren't an
issue, which version is more user-friendly, XP or Vista? Just curious.
Thanks again.

Completely depends on the user and the system they will be using it upon.
(Sub-dependencies would be what the user does with the computer, what
peripherals they plan on using, etc.)
