Default Volume License Key Activations Lookup?

Hello all!
Does anyone know if there's any way/tool where I can lookup how many
available seats I have remaining on a VLK? I am a Microsoft Partner and
System Builder, but cannot seem to find this information anywhere. Thanks in
advance!

Derek

How do you think this information should be gathered? The only way I
know of is writing it down each time you install a machine with your VLK.

Microsoft knows how many allowable activations remain on any VLK; for
instance, if you have a Technet Subscription, you can view how many
activations are still allowed for the VLKs they give you. I was wondering if
there was some online tool they provide to do this with any VLK.

Thanks,
Derek

If you installed it on 10 PC's that don't access the internet, how would
Microsoft know about them? They don't require activation so how would they
keep track?

There is no activation with Windows XP VLK.
You are responsible for keeping track of your Windows XP Volume License
installations.
