I'm trying use the $OEM$ folder structure on my install disk to copy certain
data to certain locations during setup. I have data in $OEM$\$$ and $OEM$\$1
that gets copied over just fine and is where it should be. However, when I
add data to $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Desktop, it doesn't copy the data to the
desktop. It copies it to %SystemDrive%\Documents and
Settings\All_Users\Desktop. Obviously this isn't the effect I'm going for.
How do I tweak so the data goes where I want it to?
Any help would be great! I have this query on several other forums around
the web and nobody seems to know what to do. Someone said to use a
$rename.txt to rename the folder but I don't think that will work.

I was doing that 'til I found out how to use the $OEM$ folders. You know -
why bother writing a script if Windows has a built-in ability/programming to
just copy the needed files to their directories. If that's my only option,
then fine. However, if there's a way to learn something new, and utilize the
$OEM$ folders as they were designed to be used for, I'm all for that.
