Hi, I live in the Uk and should have a time zone of GMT. For some reason over
the last week or so my time has changed to + 4 hours. When I look in the Date
and Time within control panel (time zone) I can only see one option -
(GMT+04:00) Yerevan. This apprently is Armenian Daylight Time...... I would
expect to see loads of options, one of which is GMT London etc. Is there any
way I can 're-install' the correct time zones - i assume via the registry?
Thanks,
You can set the TimeZone via the following commandline option
RUNDLL32.EXE SHELL32.DLL,Control_RunDLL TIMEDATE.CPL,,/Z (GMT-08:00) Pacific
Time (US & Canada); Tijuana
where '(GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana' is the timezone to be
set.
Input value behind /Z is from the Display value under the registry key
'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones'
Best Regards
