If you are saying you have the sp2 on cd then yes
If you are saying you have a winxp cd that includes sp2 then no

The CD with XP SP2 included in it will not accept your original XP key code.
You have to have an XP SP2 keycode if you are going to install the XP SP2
CD.

Yes this is a huge pain especially for us because we have purchased over 100
computer since XP has come out. Some no SP, some SP1, SP1a, and SP2. I
would really like to take advantage of some of the automatic install
features MS has like remote installations services, but I have to have a
different XP image for each key code that I have.

If it is a retail CD - it will accept the retail CD key from previous
releases as well as well as its own.
If it is a generic OEM CD - it will accept the generic OEM CD key from
previous releases as well as its own.

And no - you don't have to have a different XP image for each key. If you
utilize the tools and methods (many) that are out there - you could have one
image for all your OEMs, one for your retails, etc. Best case - with that
many machines - volume license - which assumes all those licenses were
bought for one entity.
