Default Skip file during installation

I got a problem while installing XP Pro in the early stage, some files
cannot be read from the CD after several retry, I can only skip the files.
Is there a way to do that after installation?

I think you're better off fixing the cause for the retries. It could be
a dirty CD or a bad CD drive. If the disc is clean, try installing a new
CD drive (or borrow one temporarily).

Why would you believe that your computer would be more successful at reading
these files after installation?
It might well be that lacking the particular files will result in a no boot
situation.

Follow the other poster's advice. You might find it necessary to get a
replacement disk.
