'Script' Explorer Details view for 'Default User' profile...
Hi
Trying to get the 'Default User' profile set, so that new users on
PC's get the Details View, etc.
We have a build process that uses the Administrator account through
AutoAdminLogin and a procedure that can successfully copy the profile
to the Default User.
The issue is finding the correct settings...! (and not including
spurious ones!)
We have been trying the registry settings contained below, and we feel
like we are nearly there..... However, something always crops up...
e.g. the Details view becomes default, but somehow the Arrange Icons
by-Show In Groups gets set.
I'm sure someone must have cracked this....?!?
We've tried so may combinations we're starting to forget what's been
tried before!
Anyhow here's what we are currently trying, if anyone has any
comments, suggestions that'd be great!
No wonder you couldn't find them... (watch the line wrapping). These are in
INF file format and I am not 100% sure that the 3rd one is required.
Just a tip, if you use CMDLINES.TXT to merge HKCU .REG files, they will be
loaded into the Default User registry hive since this hive is loaded during
this phase of a scripted build.
