Default same admin password - does not work on recovery console

My pc showed the BSOD.. when it boots up, @ time when the login screen is to
come up next.
This has been a intermittently-recurring problem lately.

I tried logging into the recovery console - it does not accept my
administrator password.

I can log on with the same a/c password on windows (when it boots up
properly)
but it does not work in the recovery console..
I am lost as what to do ?

ps:chkdsk showed errors - but was unable to fix them, hence the recovery
console...

any help?

Attempt to create a new administrator account and use that one in the RC.

That won't work. The Recovery Console logon is done with the built-in
Administrator account *only*. No other users can logon to the Recovery
Console, regardless of their administrative privileges.

Now that was an informative rebuttal, thank you John John. Now we all know.
