Default Reformat SATA harddrive

Hi,

My comp currently have 2 Western D harddrives with several partition on both
drives. I`m thinking of reformatting and reinstalling my copy of winxp home
to one of the drives ( with previous installation). My question is:

a) Do I need SATA driver after reformatting the drive? If I remember
correctly SATA drives need additional driver when installing winxp.
b) Can winxp recognize my second drive?
c) Do I need to activate winxp after reinstallation. It looks like that I
still need to activate my winxp. There's no changes to my hardware though.

I just want confirmation after read through this board before proceeding
with the reformatting. Thank you.

Whether you have to install sata/raid drivers, via F6 may depend on your
mobo
