Default Reformat hard drive

I want to reformat the hard drive. During start up, when the promt " press
any key to boot from cd rom" pop up, I press the space bar and it won't go
to the Window set up menu. I try many times with pressing different keys when
the promt pop up, but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Re: Reformat hard drive

Because you must first go into the BIOS and change the boot order to put the
CD/DVD drive first and the hard drive second.
