Profile - Home folder

We have WIN03 with 50 users.

Recently created an user account for Peter in our AD, and in his account,
under the Profile tab, I added \\WIN03\users\Peter as his home folder connect
to F:\

The problem is that when he logon to his account on his PC, the F:\ will not
showup and not mapped to the path at all. I have created many user for the
past and never have something like that happened.

Please help !!

Presumably windows 2003 server?
Surely there are Server news groups?
