OEM Pre-activation questions
Is it possible to preserve OEM pre-activation for XP Home?
In what situations can OEM preactivation be preserved, in general?
eg. do I need a special CD (OEM/retail) or do I just need the motherboard to
be the same as the OEM supplied?
Does it work will all Dell, HP, Acer machines? or only some OEMs?

Difficult to generalise. Sometimes you can clone an image to several
identical OEM mobos, sometimes they all need activating.
The worst is when they all need activating by phone.
