Default NTLDR and other system files deleted

Hello,
I inadvertently deleted NTLDR and some other system files and now my PC will
not boot up. I don't have the XP Install cd-rom either (this pc was given to
me). Is there a way to fix this without having to re-purchase and re-install
XP?

Thanks!

Try to Press the F8 on Boot up until you get the Boot up options and select
Last Good known configuration that worked option or you can Start in Safe
Mode and perform a System restore to an earlier date.
HTH.

In this case you don't have a valid license. Don't ask here then. Or
purchase one.

There is no option to press F8 without NTLDR.

I found the XP install cdroms that go with this PC so re-installed.
Thanks
