Default newSID v4.10

Hi all,

I am about to start testing the program newSID on my XP deployments to avoid
using sysprep to change the systems SID. I was wondering if anyone had any
experience with using it, and/or had any problems with it.

Robert

Default Re: newSID v4.10

Robert,

I've had great success with NewSID on about 2,000 Windows 2000 machines.
I've used it on a few dozen WinXP machines as well. I've used a VBS
to set the computername and run NewSID with reboot and chained it
together with automatic logons and netdom to automatically join a domain
after the NewSID reboot.

Regards,
Kevin
