Newbie to Roaming profiles

Hello,

I'm not sure the best place to post this but apparently someone has a
roaming profile but it looks like it is actually not replicating - it looks
like it is grabbing things that are put on the desktop of one and moving
them to another but not leaving the original. I don't know anything about
roaming profiles. Any things I should look at would be appreciated.
