mouse problem

I have a problem with my keypad mouse.

When I point at an item it opens it even when I do not click.
Also sometimes when I scroll over text it highlights the text.
I do not want either of these things to happen.
I want to open an item only when I click on it and I do not want to
highlight text when I scroll over it.

Not sure if this is what's causing your problem, but try taking a look at
your "Accessibility Options" in Control Panel.
