Microsoft updates question

I updated my WindowsXP Pro using Autopatcher (www.autopatcher.com)

Is it safe to delete the following directories after the updates are
applied?

c:\windows\$hf_mig$ (which contains hidden KBxxxxxx subdirs for all updates)
c:\windows\$NtUninstallKBxxxxxx$ (which display in blue color)
