Default Microsoft Dpeloyment - XP SP2

Hi everyone

I am trying to deploy XPSP2 via Microsoft deployment to a Dell Latitude 630
with a Intel SCSIAdapter iastor.inf 7.0.0.1020 and have run into several
issues.
I can access the files etc on the distribution$ share. (drivers for the
SATA are added to the OOB drivers) Everything sets up fine until the first
reboot and I get a 0x0000007B stop error at the "windows is starting up".

I manually added the drivers and was able to lay down the OS files but upon
nexct reboot the machine fails with same error at the mup.sys driver.

I have also tried disabling the Set Diskpart action for XP and created an
uberbug reg key that is being forced down. Still nada.
Anyone else running into similar issues?

Thx in adv!!
KM

Default RE: Microsoft Dpeloyment - XP SP2

KM on the D630 we disabled the Flash Cache in the BIOS and changed the drive
operation to ATA instead of AHCI, since then we haven't had any issues with
the images.
