I was given a key gen to a download site from my college's business
department for Windows XP Pro sp2. I can load XP directly by clicking the key
gen and downloading the ISO file. This launches a window that downloads the
file, unpacks it, and then installs it.
What I have done is save the ISO to CD so that when I upgrade my mother
board next year, I have a disk on hand that I can use. However, when I boot
my machine with the disk in the cd:/ player it dosen't show the burned image
of the ISO image like it shows the win2k disk when I do a fresh install.
