Default Inadvertantly removed the games from Win Xp Pro

By clicking too many things in the disk cleanup window I have lost the games
that come with Windows. There is no system restore point available earlier
than the change. When I try to reinstall Windows I get a message that my
version is a later one than that on the CD. When I try to use the
installation CD to install the Extra items there are files that are not
available to copy and the installation aborts. I would appreciate knowing how
to get the games reinstalled.
Thanks for your consideration.

You usually use the Add/Remove dialogue to add/modify win components.

At some stage it might be wise to create a slipstreamed win cd containing
the latest sp
You couldnt use your cd because it was an earlier sp level that what is
currently installed.
I have used Autostreamer, there are others - google
