Default HP3055 AIO Setup Question and what ever happened to "internet printing"

I have a HP3055 AOI to be used in a semi-public network where I have
people coming in with their laptopns and they want to print
something.

I like the 3055 but the software setup is a bear. The download is
350MB and it has to unpack. Even if I pick the minimum install, the
process takes forever and the disk space needed is a problem with some
old laptops.

ISTR, maybe 6 years ago, discussion of web-based "internet printing"
and everyting was supposed to be winderful for mobile users. I can't
imagine downloading 350 MB being an example of "wonderful".

What is the fastest way to get a walk-in Windows laptop to print
something to a networked 3055?
