Default How to tell if SP2 install is complete?

I installed SP2 the other day. It seemed to go okay (at least, took quite
awhile) then came back with an "Install failed, try again" message. I
re-booted the PC so I could start over, but was greeted with "You've
installed SP2" and lots of SP2 dialog boxes about Windows firewall, etc, etc.

I've since downloaded a bunch of patches that supposedly require SP2. So
far, (knock on wood) nothing seems to be wrong with my computer or any
programs.

Is there anyway to validate that SP2 is fully installed? I'm concerned that
there may be some little missing piece that will cause me grief in the future
if I don't find it now.

Start>Run 'winver' without the quotes
If you run msupdate from IE you should be advised of any required updates
You can also review your update history, which will show any failures

So I tried winver and it tells me I have SP2.

When I look at update history, it says the SP2 install failed.

So which do I believe? :-)
