Default Files and settings transfer wizard

i ran the fst wizard and collected my files, saved the 3 files 2img0001&2 and
staus to a thumb drive. fdisked my computer installed xppro now when i run
the wizard it tells me that there are no files to restore. yet the three
files are on the drive. whats wrong?

What is a "fst wizard"...Do you mean FTW,if so,try running it from xp cd.
Also,FDisk isnt supported in XP....

I'd have to say that IMLI this is not unusual. Never rely on the FSTW as a
backup device, it's far too unreliable. I've also known it to trash sections
of the registry on the target computer if you try to use it to migrate
98->XP. Basically it's a disaster waiting to happen, and it's time MS warned
users of these issues.

It might be possible to recover the files, but I don't know of any way.
