Default Files and settings transfer cause old pc network to go up and down.

Hello all,
I have 2 win xp pro sp2 pc's all uppdates applied.
When i attempt to use the F.S.A.T. wizard it finds the .UTM file to
transfer, but the old pc's LAN connection keeps going up and down
stating a network cable is unplugged. When i cancel the transfer all
is well. Both pc work fine on the network until I try to transfer,
data is being sent to the new pc, it is just taking a long time
because of the LAN going up and dow.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks
MMJII
