Default FATW doesn't retrieve the setttings on the new PC

I am trying to migrate files and settings from one PC running Windows XP Pro
SP2 to another PC running Windows XP Pro SP2. I have not problem creating the
transfer on the old PC, but the FTW does not recognise the Filre when the
wizard is run on the new PC. I got a message that pops up and says

"The location you specified does not contain stored information. Please type
a valid folder path into the edit box. If you entered the path to a folder
on a removable disk, the disk must be in the drive."

I have tried to retrieve the information from a network drive, an external
USB drive, and from the root of C:\. I get the same message each time.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
